Extra Inning play Down in Clarkston

0 Ratings / 0 Comments
Well its a long drive down to clarkston as most of you know.. and everyone on the bus is just dead tired. Its my sophmore season and my first year on a varsity baseball club. as a sophmore i pitched and that was about it. so i got the start down in clarkston and happend to be pitching againts thier best Trent Line. he was an amazing pitcher by the way. luckily i happend to bring my "A" game because it would of been a blow out if not. With the wind blowing and it beginning to rain we kept playing and well pitching. one after another both of us were pitching great. With Mike Constantine contributing nothing but his gold glove defence and his clutch Abs, the game was even tighter. and as the game progressed we found ourselves at a tie 4-4. so finally after 10 innings of baseball i was done and Brendan Greene stepped in and pitched great. But clarkston walked away with a win off of a balk to advance the runner home to give clarkston the 5-4 win. it was a call that had both coaches players and fans shook up and confused but the clarkston coach wasnt about to say anything, he was glad it wasnt reversed. Bottom of the line, a great game seeing two of the best pitchers in the GNL have a day. for more about this game or others feel free to email me.
